Brown Sugar Talk is a respectful, honest, and uplifting platform that covers race and it’s intersectionality with issues in today’s society. Every two weeks Amy Sylla, host of Brown Sugar Talk, shares her uplifting conversations with her inspiring guests.
What kind of topics are covered?
Brown Sugar Talk covers various topics such as systemic racism, challenges faced by marginalized groups, diversity and inclusion in the workplace, colorism, cultural appropriation, interracial relationships and more. Some conversations might be sensitive and vulnerable, but there is a lot of beauty and insight behind these challenges that we discuss in depthly.

Brown Sugar Talk welcomes anyone interested in learning more about racial and ethnic differences and how to help marginalized communities.
